Even supergirls need sleep
So, I’ve definitely written before about how everything with kids is a phase, especially when it comes to sleep challenges (and successes). We ended up throwing most typical sleep advice out the window with Beatrice and just following her lead. Basically, we have let her nurse to sleep, bounce to sleep, come into bed with us in the middle of the night, and the list goes on. Sometimes, the path of least resistance just seems right.
We have a garden!
Want to feed your family organic food? Yes.
On a budget? Yes.
Minimal (like seriously minimal) yard space? Yes.
We finally got a veggie garden going this year and are somehow managing to keep everything and everyone alive so we can actually enjoy what grows. Cat lady eats own placenta
Recently, if you live somewhere in the vicinity of Boston, you may (or may not, considering this story was hidden on the 11pm news) have seen a riveting, in-depth 2-minute segment on placenta encapsulation on the local news.
Don’t sit on the toddler bed!
Overall, our switch to the toddler bed was a great success … until I broke the bed just three days after we started using it.
